Superhero Worms
Worms are amazing superheroes and can help fight for our planet. We can join the war on waste by not only having worms in our garden, or a few worm farms, but creating amazing habitats for our superheros and friends to live. We explore worm farming, pollinating plants, water conservation, sustainability in our early learning centre and how we can reduce the waste in our centre with worm composting.
Teddy Bears and Tea
Who doesn’t love a teddy bear’s picnic? We have some very special Sweet Companions that help children (and adults) get some grounding and learn about some herbs, coregulation strategies and mindfulness activities. We enjoy the sensory activity of making tea together through this hands-on activity.
Mindfulness Art
Art is fun and messy and sometimes mess is ok. Being creative together with a buddy or as a small group fosters positive relationships and we can create original masterpieces to display. The workshop is about our emotions, colours and how we can use art to express our big emotions to make connections, to be mindful, to disengage and relax.
Soil Smoothie
Sometimes we run on empty and need a rest to recharge. So does the garden. Learn how you can grow soil through fun ‘soil smoothie’ interactive workshops to prepare your garden beds for the next season.
Edible Garden Sensory Play
Food is fun and so is gardening! We can learn more about our edible garden through playing with our food
Contact Beth (aka DirtMum) for more information any of the above workshops.
